A really bad and annoying combo is someone who is both smug and untrusting. They end everything in "gate."
Like I ask them what they did today and they say back, with a smirk: "I just came back from Burgergate. I went up to the counter at McDonald's and ordered a double cheeseburger and my card was denied. It was a total Swipegate."
And then I say: "Yeah like that time before the concert." And they're like: "Totally. That was a real Tailga---hey!"
(No I wouldn't actually say that. That would totally crush them.)
