Breaking news about the governor of New York calls to mind a phrase that has always seemed a little confusing to me - namely, the "prostitution ring." It seems that the ring is the last thing on anyone's mind.
I mean...
They don't call a "hockey rink" a hockey pool...
...and they don't call a "death squad" a death maternity ward.
It wouldn't make sense if they did.
They also don't call a "movie theater" a movie TV set or a "tape dispenser" a tape I'll keep it...
They don't call New Orleans the Land of Fast-talkers...
...and they certainly don't call the Democratic Caucus the Democratic group that impacts national policy.
Why would they?
